Kristinn Hrafnsson is an Icelandic investigative journalist and the current editor-in-chief of WikiLeaks. He joined WikiLeaks in 2010 as a spokesperson and has been involved in many of their major releases, including the Iraq and Afghanistan War Logs, the Guantánamo files, and the Vault 7 CIA leak. Hrafnsson has also worked for various media outlets in Iceland, the UK and the US, including The Reykjavik Media, The New York Times and The Guardian. He has been awarded numerous journalism awards in Iceland and elsewhere for his work. Hrafnsson is an outspoken advocate for press freedom and has been critical of government surveillance and censorship.
